New Packaging for SLH Estate Wines

Hahn Family Wines located in the Santa Lucia Highlands (SLH) appellation of Monterey County, has announced new packaging and positioning for its SLH Estate Wines. The most notable change is the prominent SLH on the label, highlighting the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation for both the Hahn 2012 SLH Pinot Noir ($35 suggested retail) and Hahn 2012 SLH Chardonnay ($25). Other adjustments include changing Hahn’s emblematic rooster from red to a gold foil. [“Hahn” in German means “rooster.”] The 2012 SLH Pinot Noir offers soft tannins along with plum and cherry aromas and flavors. The 2012 SLH Chardonnay is rich and layered, with notes of apple, mango and buttered toast.
