Actor Adrian Grenier (left), of “Entourage” fame, and Christie’s Vice President Rachel Orkin-Ramey celebrate with whisky investor Mahesh Patel (right) following Patel’s purchase of the 55-Year-Old Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Reserve for $94,000, breaking an auction record for a single malt Scotch. The event took place on Liberty Island in New York Harbor and also celebrated Glenfiddich’s 125th Anniversary. All proceeds from the auction went to SHFT Initiatives, the charitable arm of SHFT, which was founded by Grenier to promote sustainability issues through the intersection of commerce, art & design, and communication.
